Since 2009, Jane Downes has been an integral part of the Greenwich Co-operative Development Agency. In 2014, she took on the management of the Woolwich Common Community Centre, transforming it from an underutilized space into a vibrant, multicultural community hub. With a passion for fostering inclusivity and engagement, Jane has played a pivotal role in revitalizing the center, creating a welcoming environment for diverse groups and enhancing community connections.

In her spare time, Jane serves as a Welfare Officer and Director at Power Mobile Gym, a community interest amateur boxing club. She also sits on the board of Protein Dance, an international dance company based in Woolwich, further contributing to the arts and community development in the area.
